TUTU TRAIN PROJECT WELCOMES YOU
Dancers Help Dancers
Our Story
Back in 2019, we lent some tutus to our friends for competitions and performances. We donated the thank you money to local non-profits and took their positive feedback as a sign that this was a worthwhile endeavor to support our community and dancers. Thus Tutu Train Project began as a few outgrown tutus, a notebook ledger, and a zip-loc bag of money. Our name comes from the common occurrence of dancers lining up behind each other to help put on or unfasten their tutus before and after they go on stage. As the line of dancers helping one another grows, the procession begins to resemble a train of tutus.
Community of Collaboration
Our People
We feel that staying connected as a community is integral to helping dancers feel healthy and achieve their dreams. Just like our name suggests, we hope our initiative will create a collaborative community where dancers help each other.
Strong Mind Strong Body
Our Mission
Athletes, especially dancers, face mental and physical hurdles every day and it can be difficult excelling when confronted with those obstacles. Our proceeds go toward creating a platform that provides resources and information on keeping a strong mind and a strong body.
